- How do you choose which restaurants to go to/products to try?
If someone recommends it or it catches my eye. A lot of my friends love recommending things to me and I scour the ‘net all the time like a crazed maniac.
- What is your favorite/least favorite cuisine?
Asian and no, I’m not picking them because I am Asian. I am just obsessed and in love with sushi, pho noodles, ramen noodles, curries, and dim sum! I’m always craving at least one or the other at any given moment. Also, so much of it is easily veganized.
Oddly, my least favorite food is pizza. I think I overdid it on pizza as a child.
- What would be your final meal if you were on death row?
A pho, dim sum, and sushi buffet. For dessert, I’d like Candle 79’s Mexican chocolate brownie. So good.
- How do you eat so much food and not get fat?
During the week, I eat healthy. I snack on a lot of fruit and most of my meals are overloaded with vegetables.
Also, I hit up the gym a lot. I love Zumba, kickboxing, yoga, and pilates. Though, I always mix it with some strength training with body sculpt classes.
- Where does “Ohh So Fattening” come from?
One night, we had a slumber party at my house where we stayed up all night watching horror films and my mom came downstairs, scaring my friends and I because we thought she was a zombie.
She took my ice cream sundae, ate it in record time and went to us, “Ohh so fattening…” then slowly sauntered back upstairs. Her eyes were closed this whole time.
To this day, she denies this ever happened.
